A biking tour around my hometown

Inspired by the tour de france, I’ve been touring around on my bike again. My sister gave me a new biking outfit for my birthday. I fixed my bike and I am ready to go!

Because I want to take my bike on holiday to France in two weeks from now, to ride in the mountains, I do need to practice a little.

This weekend I’ve been biking around my hometown, between the big rivers. On a sunny day like this weekend this is truly beautiful scenery. It made me realize again that my hometown Zevenaar is in a beautiful part of the country. Below you’ll find some photo’s I’ve taken when I was on my bike.

Somewhere on the way there was a farmer who gave away free apples for the bikers. A nice surprise on a hot sunny day!

    Hi Ramon,

Me as the Dutch Jan Ulrich? Hmmzz… :)
I just did my training in the French Alps! It really was beautiful there! I really “liked” de Col de Forclaz! It’s a pity the Tour de France 2007 is already over, otherwise I would have joined as I am in top shape now! ;)
